The 12 000 ha farm, is great for long game drives, either with one of
our Game viewers or on your own, without seeing another car for miles.

The name Kwalata, is taken from the Tswana name for Sable.
You will be able to spot not only Sables, Roans, Leopards and Brown Hyaena
but also numerous Plains Game species. Should you be interested, game
drives with a qualified game ranger can be arranged. Kwalata is also a
premium hunting destination and our team of trackers and hunting guides
will ensure a truly African hunting experience. We also have a landing
strip on the
farm, should you wish to fly-in.
For those of an active nature, various routes are available for cycling
or hiking. You can also go mountaineering or, for the not so active amongst
us, you can always go bird watching or take some time out for your photography.

Kwalata Camp
The luxurious main camp, Kwalata Camp, is surrounded by scenic bush, rich
in bird-life. It has a spectacular view of the Limpopo River and is surrounded
by big indigenous trees. Enjoy an ice cold drink on our deck and drink
in the rest and calmness that we offer you. This is the place to be if
you love to do bird watching and animal browsing on the Limpopo river
bank.

Callie Camp
Our Self-catered camp, Callie Camp, caters for up to 10 people and is
ideal for those who prefer luxury and comfort but not the fuss usually
associated with it. The camp is nestled amongst big indigenous trees on
the banks of the Limpopo river and will allow you the opportunity to cater
to your every whim.

Camping Facilities
We will start building our camping facilities during 2013, which will
allow you an easy stop-over while on-route to your next destination. Or
should you prefer to stay-over, we will even be able to cater for longer
bookings, with kitchen and washing facilities.
Our camping site will be easily accessible from the main road, but will
still offer the restfulness and tranquility associated with Kwalata Ranch.

From Pretoria (approximately 4,5hrs):
Take N1 to Mokopane (Potgietersrus)
Turn off onto N11 to Mokopane
Drive through Mokopane to Groblersbrug Border post
Clear border post
Go past Sherwood and turn left to Ngwapa/Sefhare
Turn into Ngwapa to Kwalata Ranch
From Gaborone (apprx 3,5 hrs)
Take A1 to Mahalapye
Drive through Mahalapye and turn right to Machaneng
At Machaneng, turn left to Sherwood
Turn right into Ngwapa to Kwalata Ranch
From Francistown (approx 3 hrs)
Take A1 to Palapye
Drive through Palapye and turn left to Sherwood
Turn right to Ngwapa/Sefhare
Turn right into Ngwapa to Kwalata Ranch
Should you wish to fly-in, daily commercial flights are available to Gaborone.
Upon arrival, you can rent a vehicle and follow the above directions.
For pilots, the best is to fly directly to Gaborone or Machatu to clear
customs and from there-on you can fly directly to Kwalata Ranch
