Tati River Lodge is a picturesque traditional, country hotel and conference centre conveniently situated 8km from the city centre of Francistown, away from the hubbub. This tranquil venue with its unique ambience is ideal for conferences, weddings, special functions, and product launches.
The hotel presently boasts 80 delightful rooms, all tastefully decorated in rustic African theme. All rooms boast seven channel digital satellite television, fully air conditioned, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel also has a fully serviced camping site with hot showers. Both the camping and caravan sites are supervised and secure, allowing you to enjoy your stay.
The Mophane Grill offers mouth watering cuisine inspired by many flavours
of Africa. The lunch and dinner menu is a wonderful assortment of “home
cooked” style meals all ready to tantalize your taste buds. You can
relax at the terrace where light meals are served or take a sundowner in the
cocktail bar or pool bar. The hotel also has a fully serviced camping site
with hot showers. Both the camping and caravan sites are supervised and secure,
allowing you to enjoy your stay.
Inception of Lodge:
Tati River Lodge began operation in May 1999, 16 standard rooms to offer, the reception plus the administration block and by December 2000 a 120 seater restaurant had been constructed with a terrace, cocktail bar, campsite and caravan car park with ablutions and swimming and paddling pools.
Conferencing:
The Morojwa and Morula Rooms seat 100 people each, the Motswere
Room seat 150 and the Mowana room 300. The entertainment area with a pool-side
pub and band stand accommodates up to 500 guests for corporate functions,
weddings, braais and tailor made dinners and other festivities.
Food and Dining at Tati River Lodge:
Our Mophane grill is bathed in rich wooden furniture giving it a very cozy
look and atmosphere. The walls are pasted with traditional baskets and a variety
of cultural themed décors which blend perfectly with the whole hotel
structures…traditional at heart.
The restaurant comes with a terrace accommodating up to 300 people and it
offers mouth watering cuisine inspired by the many flavors of Africa. This
bistro boasts an extensive menu that will tantalize the appetite any dining
specialist. All our dishes will be colorfully decorated
Weddings and Functions:
Tati River Lodge is popularly known
as an alternative for the traditional wedding venue. Our peaceful surrounding,
romantic buildings and exquisite cuisine and dining services will make your
wedding memorable. Wedding ceremonies and cocktail receptions can be held
in a beautiful traditional or banquet style. Here we really boast our slogan
“at liberty to stay your way”.
Our four conference rooms of different capacities ranging from 50 to 500 people depending on the set up provide a spectacular indoor experience. The beautiful grounds around the hotel provide a spectacular backdrop for photographs. To assist with planning we are acquitted to a number of suppliers that we will be more than happy to share with you.

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation with balance payable 10 weeks before your travel date. Bank transfer, credit and debit cards accepted for pre-bookings. Paypal available on request.
