The main lodge building incorporates a restaurant offering unforgettable dining experience, the state-of-the-art kitchen, cocktail bar with natural wood style furniture, stunning conference accommodating 20-30 delegates and entertainment deck with unsurpassed views of the nearby Game farm and Ghanzi Township.

There is a man-made pond adjacent to the banqueting area, swimming pool and 16 campsites each with a braai / barbecue stand and benefiting from shared ablutions.

The lodge in conjunction with Ghanzi Trail Blazers offer game viewing, horse safaris, nature walks, traditional bushman (san) dancing, ancient culture experience, wisdom and knowledge of local people and theme nights at the newly erected lapa.

The magic to all this has been the sheer hard work and commitment to our dreams. We are proud to say that the opening of Khawa Lodge will definitely bring luxury accommodation with prestigious recreational facilities and most importantly jobs to many people in the area. We currently employ 36 dedicated and well-motivated staff. We plan to employ more on expansion based upon proven viability in the near future. We ensure good quality service standards to our guests and excellent return on investment. The Lodge

Khawa Safari Lodge is located along the Trans-Kalahari Highway,which is an excellent stop over for the weary traveler on his/her way to the Okavango Delta and other parts of the North Eastern edge of Botswana. The lodge caters for tourists as well as business travelers alike. It is only 7 minutes drive to shopping centers and only 5 minutes drive from the airstrip.

The Restaurant and Deck area

The restaurant is well lit and opens up onto the outer deck area which is at the pool's edge. We boast having an A-La-Carte menu that has some traditional African meals, as well as a wood theme. The deck has wooden deck chairs as well as hard wood tables where you could enjoy an icy cold drink and soaking up the luscious surroundings.

The Pool

Spend a couple of hours relaxing at the pool and take a dip to break the heat of the Kalahari. Khawa Safari Lodge has recently upgraded the pool area, as well as enlarged the pool itself. The pool is a great place to laze around and soak up the African sun. Just on the edge of the pool area there is a deck for those that do not want to spend too much time in the sun.
