The Khwai River Lodge at Moremi is part of the Okavango's complex delta
system, with the Lodge standing on the banks surrounded by nature and
the calls of the wild. Khwai is renowned for its large concentrations
of mammals and it is not unusual to see many different types of wildlife
from the comfort of your own private deck. As a year round destination
for wildlife, predators can regularly be seen in the area, rated as
one of the most prolific in Botswana for viewing wildlife.

You will be accommodated in one of the 15 luxury air conditioned twin-bedded
thatch and brick bungalows, en-suite, with your own viewing platform overlooking
the Khwai River, or a secluded Honeymoon Suite with private pool.
Luxury Tent
All luxury tents at Khwai River Lodge are housed on raised wooden platforms,
offering great views of the African landscape. The tents are shaded by
a traditional African thatch roof. The tent interiors are luxuriously
appointed with en suite bathrooms, a private fully stocked mini bar, four
poster beds complete with mosquito netting as well as a discreet air conditioning.

Private Suite
Khwai River Lodge has an exclusive private suite, perfect for a more

room, a lounge area with a cosy fireplace and air conditioned library with

What To Do at Khwai River Lodge
Hippo, Elephant and other big game animals can be seen from the lodge and
grounds, all other species that occur in this area can be spotted and observed
during the game drives and guided game walks. Birdwatching is excellent
- a paradise for any professional or amateur ornithologist.
Morning and afternoon game-drives in open landcruisers or guided walks,
after-dark spotlight gamedrives and cultural visits to a local village are
all inclusive. A company environmental manager, private guides and vehicles,
specialised guides and speakers, game flights on a fixed wing aircraft or
helicopter are all available on request.
